Geocell for Driveway
Are you looking for a driveway solution that is both attractive and durable? A geocell driveway could be the perfect solution for you.
Geocell driveways are designed to provide a strong, attractive, and long-lasting surface for use in a variety of applications. Geocell is made from HDPE (high-density polyethylene) sheets through ultrasonic welding to a 3-dimensional network structure. Geocell driveways can be filled with soil, gravel, sand, concrete, or other materials to create a strong, stable foundation that will resist erosion, sinkage, and other ground-related issues.
The Geocells can be installed quickly and easily, making them ideal for professional installers, which can make sure the geocell driveway is installed properly and will provide a long-lasting, attractive surface.
1, Base Preparation
2, Deploy Geocell
3, Infill material
4, Compact the fill material.
With its strong foundation, customizable design, and low maintenance needs, it is easy to see why geocell driveways are becoming increasingly popular. If you are interested in learning more about geocell driveways, there are two customer case studies available to help you make an informed decision.
Case Study 1:
Customer information:
We need to create a road on a steep hill approx. 15% incline, which will be used by normal cars, but also by trucks.
We have considered that your geocell Type HF200-330 ASTM should be fine by holding the gravel on the street. Could you please advise us whether it is suitable for our project?
The infill material is gravel 16-32mm. The smallest part is 16mm, and the biggest part is 32mm.
Our Recommendation and Customer’s Choice:
Use our Geocell HF150-330, ASTM standard
Height 150mm, welding distance 330mm, Textured and perforated, ASTM standard, seam peel strength 14.2KN/m.
Height of 150mm can provide high strength, allowing heavy vehicles.
Infill material 16-32mm gravel is good for Geocell welding 330mm.

Case Study 2:
Customer information:
I need to purchase for a project. I need some assistance in selecting.
I will use it to fix and repair the earth around a warehouse, the soil gets very wet when it rains. I need a surface that is hard and stable, that I can use to park vehicles. And will allow heavy vehicles to drive on it, including forklifts. I drive the forklift with a heavy load on the surface.
How many m2 fit in 20 foot container? Do you also sell connection pins for the geocell? Can you send me a quotation for 1 container with geocell, pins and connections?
Our infill material is 10mm gravel.
Our Recommendation and Customer’s Choice:
After checking with our engineer, based on your project information, we recommend below:
1, Geocell uses type 150-356, due to your surface allowing heavy vehicles, so a height of 100mm can’t provide high strength, it should use height 150mm.
2, Also due to heavy vehicles and the infill material is gravel, so we recommend using ASTM standard Geocell, the seam peel strength is 14.2KN/m, the material is 100% virgin HDPE resin.
3, It is better to use Geotextile under the Geocell, it has a good function of isolation, Polyester nonwoven Geotextile 200gsm is ok.
4, Infill material 10mm gravel is ok for this project.
