Geocell Panel and Size

HDPE Geocells are manufactured by extruding polyethylene sheets into honeycomb-like structures and then cutting them into the desired shape and size. It is used to help improve the performance of standard construction materials and erosion control treatments. Geocell system can be filled with a wide range of materials: aggregate, concrete, sand, soil, etc.

What are the characteristics of HDPE Geocell?

1, HDPE geocells offer a number of advantages over other materials, including superior strength, durability, and flexibility.
2, The benefits of HDPE geocells are numerous and include increased stability, improved load distribution, reduced soil compaction and erosion, and improved drainage.
3, HDPE geocells are also more resistant to UV radiation and chemical degradation than other materials, making them ideal for use in outdoor applications.
4, Furthermore, HDPE geocells are easier to install than other types of geocells, requiring no additional preparation or support.

What are the sizes for Geocell Panel?

If we want to know the size of the Geocell Panel, we should know the Geocell welding distance first.

Our factory can produce Geocell welding distances from 300mm to 1000mm, but regular types only have five types: they are 330mm, 356mm, 445mm, 660mm, and 712mm, which are widely used on different kinds of Geocell projects. Then it will be much more easier to understand the Geocell panels and their sizes. Ok, now let me show your the details with below drawing and data:

Geocell panel
A and B is fixed, when welding distance is fixed, it has nothing to do with the height.

For welding distance 330mm, AxB=250x210mm
For welding distance 356mm, AxB=260x255mm
For welding distance 445mm, AxB=320x288mm
For welding distance 660mm, AxB=470x450mm
For welding distance 712mm, AxB=510x475mm

N and M, no matter in cells or m, both can produce as per your request, if your project need size 5x8m/pc, then we can produce to close this size. Our regular size as follows:

For welding distance 330mm, MxN=2.5×7.14m
M=10 cells, N=34 cells

For welding distance 356mm, MxN=2.34×7.65m
M=9 cells, N=34 cells

For welding distance 445mm, MxN=2.56×9.8m
M=8 cells, N=34 cells

For welding distance 660mm, MxN=2.35×15.3m
M=5 cells, N=34 cells

For welding distance 712mm, MxN=2.55×16.15m
M=5 cells, N=34 cells
