HDPE Geocell are used on Horse Farm Trails

In Oct. 2023, I shipped 5600m2 of our Excell Geocell HF50-330(height 50mm, welding distance 330mm) to Germany, that our customer use them for horse farm trails installation, and now he has done the installation and feedback come comments to me. Please check below information:

Why Use HDPE Geocell on Horse Farm Trails?

Expand the geocells on the prepared surface, and use connection keys to connect them together, making sure they fit together securely.

Fill Material:
Depending on the specific requirements of the trail, fill the cells with a suitable material. This can range from compacted soil to aggregate.

Compaction:
Compact the fill material using a mechanical compactor to achieve the desired trail surface density.

Regarding the infill material, our customer infill below materials for your reference:

We filled the cells with „Split 8-16mm“, added 3cm „Mineral mixture 0-16mm“, shaked/compacted this and then added 10-15cm washed sand (0-3mm) on top of it.
